Level
1: First Aid
Homeopathy can be used in first
aid to safely treat common
ailments and occurrences, such as
sprains and bruises, minor burns,
skin irritations and reactions
(including poison ivy, diaper
rash and insect bites), teething
pain, etc.
Level
2: Acute Homeopathy
Acute health problems are those
in which the symptoms will
eventually go away on their own.
They are temporary conditions,
such as colds, flu, coughs,
sprains, etc. A homeopathic
remedy can be useful and
attractive because it is safe,
gentle and has no harmful side
effects. Homeopathy can also be
used to assist sensitive
conditions such as pregnancy.
Level
3: Constitutional Homeopathy
Constitutional homeopathy refers
to the treatment of a person as a
whole, including past and present
symptoms. When accurately
implemented, homeopathic
constitutional care can elicit a
profound healing response.
Homeopathy can be extremely
effective in treating chronic and
long-term health problems.
Recurrent ear infections, for
example, can be treated with a
homeopathic remedy for a longer
period of time to strengthen the
bodys immune system and to
prevent future occurrences.
What are the
three levels of homeopathic
therapy? by Whole
Health Now
This
is a difficult question to answer
in a general way. It depends on
the nature of your illness (acute
or chronic, long standing or
recent, etc.), your constitution,
and the specific remedy given. In
acute cases often times relief
can be felt a few minutes after
taking the remedy and the first
dose can cure the illness
completely. Chronic cases take
longer to respond and a full
course of treatment may take many
months.
How fast do
homeopathic remedies work? by
Christian Kurz
Homeopathy
is holistic medicine.
Homeopaths do not treat physical,
emotional and mental illnesses
separately, but regard them as
intimately connected. These are
all aspects of the whole of the
patients suffering.
Further, they understand that
symptoms of illnesses are
evidence of the bodys
natural and automatic efforts to
heal itself. These clues are used
to guide them when prescribing a
remedy. So, the patient may be
asked questions about all sorts
of apparently minor deviations
from health and about character
and personality traits. It may
appear that the homeopath is
interested in matters that have
little to do with the particular
complaint about which the patient
is most concerned. This is
because, before prescribing, the
homeopath wants a complete
overview of the patient. A remedy
is then prescribed for that
individual patient and not for
his or her disease. Therefore,
homeopathy is truly holistic.
